“People providing technology” – this was the idea in 1998 when TFE was started. We believe that all organizations, no matter the size or type, need technology to exist. TFE continues to invest in its culture, develop its expertise, and embrace change. The belief of TFE is to “connect” – engage people, empower beliefs, and be relevant. 

TFE was founded to support the K-12, higher education, local government, commercial, and healthcare industries. TFE’s original focus was on infrastructure – structured cabling and network electronics. As the network evolved and became the platform for other architectures, TFE expanded its practice to include unified communications, professional audio visual, data center, physical security, and other technologies to leverage our expertise in the network.

With offices throughout Texas, our capabilities, reach, and culture help TFE stand out from our competition. TFE has large organization expertise and capabilities with a unique culture typically found only in smaller organizations. This coupled with our services portfolio allows our customers to reduce the complexities and costs associated with having to work with multiple vendors.

One goal of TFE is to be easy to do business with. TFE is a historically underutilized business (HUB) and has nearly all products and services on state cooperative contracts for customers needing to recognize HUB credits or leverage state contracts for ease of procurement. Most importantly, we try to cut out a lot of obstacles found with large conglomerates.

Several years ago, TFE adopted the QBQ principal which extends beyond TFE and its business goals.
